Frequently Asked Questions
Greyden Diapers offers our revolutionary OS pocket diapers that are TRULY one size. No need to worry about getting an XL pocket diaper once your little outgrows the standard one size diaper. Our pockets have a weight range of 8 pounds to 70+ pounds and have 4 snap rows for a wide range fit. Pocket diapers are diaper covers that have a sewn pocket. The pocket allows you to add and customize absorbency to your diaper via inserts. The outside of the diaper is made of super soft and stretchy PUL (a waterproof material) and the inside is lined with Athletic Wicking Jersey (AWJ)to keep the skin dry and cool. Our pocket diapers also have a tummy panel that provides leaks from tummy laying and prevents transfer of liquid onto clothes.
New! Greyden Diapers now offers diaper covers! Our diaper covers have the same weight range as our pocket diapers so you can feel confident that they will fit your kiddo. We know pocket diapers are not ideal for everyone, so we are thrilled to now offer this option! Diaper covers are meant to be used with other forms of cloth diapers as they are not absorbent themselves. Instead, they prevent leaks and getting other materials wet. With diaper covers you can customize absorbency by using prefolds, fitteds, flats, and even inserts. Whichever absorbent material you use, place our diaper covers over them and your kiddo is good to go! The outside of the diaper is made of super soft PUL and the inside has a front flap and snap to help keep inserts secure and prevent leaks.
Besides Diapers, we offer a variety of cloth diapering accessories that are made to make cloth diapering easier! We have diaper inserts, liners, pods, wetbags, wipes, and more!
There are a variety of different inserts that are made to be stuffed inside of pocket diapers. The inserts can be made out of synthetic fibers like microfiber or natural fibers like cotton. We recommend using natural fibers as they are the most absorbent and can be used against the skin. Our custom bamboo/cotton inserts are quick to absorb and can withstand even the heaviest of wetters! The best way to dry your cloth diapers are to either hang/air dry them or to machine dry them on low heat/tumble dry. It is important to not dry your diapers on high heat often due to the elastics and PUL. Drying on high heat can lead to the elastics in your diapers becoming loose and result in an ill fitting diaper. Additionally the PUL fabric can delaminate and lose its waterproof protection. You dont want to damage these beauties!
We would LOVE to be able to bring more in-stock items to you all. Because of our size at the moment, we are unable to fulfill those upfront costs for in-stock inventory. For preorders we try to order a lot more than purchased to that we are able to have in-stock drops. As you may have noticed, even with ordering extras we sell out QUICKLY. We are working hard to be able to bring more inventory to you all so that we can have diapers readily available for you to try out. Thank you for always being so patient and understanding with this!
To put it simply, yes!
It is important to us that you are receiving the product that you purchased without any major changes to the design or color. For preorder items that we do not have in our hands yet, we use mockup images to show you what the prints and their colors will look like on our diapers and other products. Although mockups are not the actual product, we strive to as closely match the design as possible.
As you can imagine, scaling of images and color values can be hard to get exact from the mockups sometimes. However, we always make sure to get samples of our prints before the bulk of them are completed and go through quality checks once they are in our hands.
If for any reason when we receive the product and it does not meet our expectations when they are quality checked, we will be 100% transparent and find a way to remedy the situation before sending them out! We always have your back and want to be sure that you are satisfied with your diapers, their prints, and their colors.
1. Environment. It takes 500, yes 500 years for disposable diapers to decompose in a landfill. That means that every disposable diaper ever made is still on this plant.
2. Price. Start up costs for prepping your cloth diaper stash can range from anywhere from $200-$400 depending on quantity and preloved/new. Then you are set until its time to potty train! You can even save them for another kiddo or resell them! Disposables on the other hand can cost anywhere from $1000-$1300 per child from birth to potty training and they of course are not reusable and have no resale value.
3. Skin. Disposable diapers contain a chemicals and gels that make them absorbent and smell fresh. Because of this, skin irritation is very common with disposables. and it can often be difficult to find a disposable brand that does not irritate your kiddos sensitive skin. Cloth diapers wipe away this issue! Cloth diapers do not contain fragrances or harsh chemicals in them so they are much friendlier on the skin. Bonus.... because of the design of cloth diapers...minimal/no blowouts!
4. Prints! The gorgeous prints that cloth diapering has to offer is timeless! You can even enjoy the luxury of having a chic and trendy cloth diaper serve as shorts on a sunny day! They are pleasing to look at and lets you forget, if for just a moment, that they are poop catchers.
Because of the nature of preorders, we do not offer cancellations on preorders prior to when they have arrived in the US and shipped to you. If you would like to cancel a preorder, you can request a return once the preorder items have been shipped to you. For more details on preorder items and conditions, please follow this link.
There is no denying, when it comes to the small shop world, Sezzle is where its at! Practically everyone offers Sezzle and who doesn't love a good pay later system? Unfortunately, when it comes to drop days...Sezzle is not your friend. When you are checking out with Sezzle, you are taken away from the website that you are purchasing from in order to input you Sezzle information and confirm your payment plan. While you are on the Sezzle website, you cart does not get updated when items are sold out. This causes to items to get oversold and results in a cancellation of your entire order! That is NO fun. Additionally, when too many people are using Sezzle at once, it causes the site to lag and glitch. A Shopify problem we promise! We would much rather disable it during drops and save everyone the headache.
So what can you do instead if you need to use Sezzle! Buy a giftcard from us using Sezzle before the drop! This is essentially the same thing as using Sezzle but with benefits! 1) You don't have to worry about scrabbling through the Sezzle website when purchasing 2) All you have to do is copy and paste your coupon code into the discounts box and you're set! Easy Peasy.
Due to order volume and wanting to create a seamless process while minimizing the margin for error, we do not combine orders or shipping costs. We know this can be frustrating, especially on drop days when possibly placing multiple orders. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Upon purchasing an item, you will receive a confirmation and receipt of purchase via email. For preorder items, please refer to the ETA of when that preorder is set to arrive (available on the preorder description). We are proud that we are CPSC tested and compliant! Federal law requires that every children's product be tested by a third party for compliance with the Federal children's safety requirements. In order to be compliant with the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission), cloth diapers need to be tested for lead content, lead paint, and flammability. It is important to us that we get these tests done in order to ensure the safety of our products. When shopping for cloth diapers or any other children's brand, be sure that the company is compliant and meets CPSC safety standards.
